We are making several changes to how we run the monthly Tavern Night and Guild Meetups.
We will no longer be hosting Guild Meetups on the first Wednesday of the month. Instead, we will now be hosting 2 Tavern Nights each month, on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
These bimonthly Tavern Nights will now be held at the Pit at D&E in Elkins.
Players may continue to participate in the Tavern Night events for free, but an XP and Goblin Stamp benefit will be given to any player who brings a covered dish to share or who pays at least $5 towards the purchase of food.
Because of the change in location, combat will be allowed at any Tavern Night events in the Pit. However, combat may only take place in the designated area.
We are trying to make this an in-game, roleplaying-centered event, so please come in costume and help us create a great roleplaying atmosphere.
Please be aware that we share use of the Pit with many different groups, and there may be times when we need to change location. If this is the case, we will try to post a message here, in the community forums, and on the doors to the Pit.

Check out the Mid-Level Crisis LARP Podcast, where NERO® Elkins's own Eric & Matt talk about everything LARP.
Elkins Live Fantasy runs NERO® Elkins WV, a chapter of NERO®, or the New England Roleplaying Organization, one of the largest boffer LARP organizations in the United States. In Live Action Role-playing (LARP), you become the character of your fantasies, and, acting out the action, solve the mysteries and defeat adversaries with wit, intelligence, and sword & sorcery. At NERO® events, you use skills that your character has earned, as well as the skills that you as the player bring to the game. Much like King Arthur, Lord of the Rings, and Renaissance Fairs except you are the hero.
Keep in mind that NERO® events are full of action and suspense. There will be times spent wandering alone through the darkness, worried that monsters will jump out at you and attack you. This ain't your mommy's D&D game. If you are squeamish, easily frightened, or afraid to whack other people (and get whacked) with a foam weapon, NERO® is probably not for you.
