Coredalia Faction

The Coredalia faction is one of the four original divisions of Dalantian families. It is named for Dalanto's third wife, Coredalia, who bore and raised three sons, Rub'eo, Ka'cito, and Di'mondo, for whom the families Rub'eus, Ka'citus, and Di'mondus are named.

Philosophy & Beliefs

Members of Coredalia have historically treated Necromancy and the undead as a tool to be used to achieve their ends, some to the point where they make the advancement of Necromancy their life quest. Therefore, the use of necromancy within the lands of Houses Rub'eus, Ka'citus, and Di'mondus shall not be punished except in the cases where it is used to accomplish a punishable crime such as assault, murder, or robbery. In these cases, the use of Necromancy will carry no additional penalties and will be treated as a weapon skill or other offensive magic for the purposes of the law.

Coredalian families have been opposed the establishment of the open city at Freetown. They are worried about the problems that the other races will bring with them and worried that the other cultures will poison (and in fact already have) Dalantian culture.
