Dil'muna Faction

The Dil'muna faction is one of the four original divisions of Dalantian families. It is named for Dalanto's second wife, Dil'muna, who bore and raised three sons, Em'raldo, Turkv'o, and Am'tisto, for whom the families Em'raldus, Turkv'os, and Am'tistus are named.

Philosophy & Beliefs

Members of Dil'muna have the greatest hatred for Necromancy and the undead, some to the point where they make the annihilation of undead their life quest. They also believe that because undead creatures make so much use of the Death spell, the Death spell must also be necromantic in nature. Therefore, the use of necromancy within the lands of Houses Em'raldus, Turkv'os, and Am'tistus shall be defined as casting any spell which calls upon chaos or creating, controlling, or aiding undead creatures (excepting the turning of such creatures) or the casting of the Death spell. Using necromancy within these lands shall be punishable by Curse and loss of all worldly possessions upon the first offense and death by the sword or the spell and loss of all worldly possessions upon the second offense.

Dil'munian families have been reluctant supporters of the establishment of the open city at Freetown. They want to trade with outside races, but are worried about the problems that the other races will bring with them.
