Summary of Events
According to local reports, a group of travelers approaching Freetown was ambushed by Kobolds. Having escaped and defeated the kolbolds they were requested by Poli Rub'eus to recover a wand for him from the wild elves, and in the process defeated a powerful kobold warrior who had come into possession of a magically enhanced sword and shield. Having recovered the wand, Polis Rub'eus nominated the Gadje as part of the deal to be ambassador of the lands of Dalantia to Avalon.
During these events, the Gadje and a Kris'alis witnessed the murder of another Gadje by the title of Todd the Great, who also seeks the title of ambassador.
Events as told by Crie Kris'alis Snillor
Having traveled with a group of Gadje, Alex Row a human and Reton Hearthridge a mystic wood elf, we found ourselves at a small tavern just on the borders of Dalantia. There we encountered a man seeking to become the ambassador to the lands of Dalantia. I never got his name, but when he announced he was on his way to Freetown there was an overall strange response. Most who had gathered at that tavern were on their way to Freetown. With me being the only one familiar with the local area I volunteered to lead them to Freetown. On our way we were ambushed by kobolds. Though outnumbered we held our own for quite some time. Unfortunately we were outnumbered, and young Alex Row was killed while the rest of us were taken unconscious.
We were brought to a cavern, where their chieftain, a necromancer, was deciding what to do with us. Apparently he brought in a zombie bear. As I was later told, they were reviving us one by one to fight it. Then lost control of it, and in an attempt to keep themselves from being killed by the zombie bear they revived the rest of the Gadje and me. We fought with all our might and with great effort me and my good friend Reton ran to once more find help from Freetown only to find ourselves lost. Luckily Grom, the Orc, had dealt with the menace and the group was on their way once more. Grom is an Orc I can respect for he recovered a face stone of mine stolen by the kobolds. We continued our journey to Freetown, to finally reach the edge of Freetown. There we encountered Poli Rub'eus former Elder of the Rub'eus.
There he revived Alex Row and offered up a deal. If we could recover a wand for him, he would nominate our companion to be Ambassador to the lands of Dalantia. So we agreed, as he also offered up a small payment. On our way back into the forest we discovered two of our companions had already encountered the wild elves who supposedly had the wand. In order to acquire the wand from their leader we had to travel the woods through a path of some mystic importance. A path of aggravation, to which simply breaking a twig required a stopping of movement and prayer to the tree.
Eventually we encountered their leader and with some discussion agreed to recover some seeds on a lost wild elf. Grom wasted no time getting on with the mission while a gypsy who I never got the name of continued to speak with the wild elf. I followed Grom, soon followed by the others. Eventually we found ourselves at a cavern. This cavern was full of kobolds and to our knowledge the elf we sought may of been within. After fighting off some kobolds we discovered that the leader, who somehow possessed magic weaponry had the seeds. All we were required to do was recover the seeds. After a long fought battle (and some potions tor revive a Wild Elf who came to help us) we managed to fight off the Kobold and recover both the seeds and wand. We returned it to Poli only to encounter Todd the Great. Todd, was also seeking to be ambassador to the lands of Dalantia and was actively brandishing his ego. Though accompanied by his stupidity. Poli Rub'eus killed him with a death spell. I was unable to do a thing in response as the group of Gadje would probably see my actions as bad and we couldn't fight Poli in any cause by ourselves. Before I left the last words he muttered to them involved not sharing the reward with me. Nothing of importance, but I got a share none the less.
